The course consist of

A , free to attend, on-line start webinar - held in the beginning of each quarter -  where content will be presented and where the participants will hear how to get the most out of the course. 

36 video lessons (app. 500 minutes), which can be watched whenever the participants wants it. The participants can send questions to the lecturers during the course:

  • Introduction to Offshore Wind
  • Wind Theory
  • The Weather Window
  • World offshore wind market
  • Building a project – in reality
  • Project logistics
  • Offshore wind turbines principles
  • Offshore wind turbines, foundations and balance of plant
  • Safety, GWO courses and certificates
 

At the end there will be an on-line final webinar, - held in the end of each quarter - where there will be an summon up and the participants can ask questions.

Both webinars will be recorded. The participants will have access to the lessons and webinars for 6 weeks and they can watch them as many times they like.
The teachers will be available to the participants by e-mail for questions during the course period. 

The lecturers:

Wiebke Langreder, Head of consulting, EMD  LinkedIn Profile

Active in renewable energy industry since 1996, mostly in wind resource assessment, with working experience in Denmark, Germany, and UK. In executive function since 2012. Technical and administrative responsibility for international teams of up to 26 engineers across seven countries.

After the coursere the participants will be part of a network at the platform, for 12 months where  experiences can be shared with other participants and the lecturers. 

The lecturers are internationally experienced and have been – and still are - working in the off shore wind industry for many years. All lessons are very intense and supplies lots of information.
